I’ve been wanting to share this particular message from my personal bible study. I’ve been M.I.A. more than I expected to be, but I’m available now.
My darling mother just underwent surgery last Wednesday and she’s doing amazing (Thank God!) We’ve been having conversations about life after this hurdle of recovery. I have a spirit of anticipation for great things to come. She does as well. Our family has been through a serious storm but sunny skies are on the horizon.
Our conversations have included healthy decision making, spiritual growth (always needed), doing more for self, new occupational opportunities and etc. I’m excited.
However, in the midst of the excitement, I have experienced moments of fear of the unknown. Which brings me to my bible study of Isaiah 41:10 KJV, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
This scripture comes from the passage about the comfort given to the Children of Israel because of God’s greatness (Isaiah 41). They were still in captivity in Babylon but God sent a prophet to let them know that it was time to get ready. He was sending a righteous man to deliver them from the enemy. And the enemy wouldn’t be able to stand against this god-sent man. It was time out for looking to idols for answers and look to the One who has always delivered them.
God was going to do some miraculous things that no one could refute, and only He would get the glory.
This scripture and old testament passage revved up the anticipation I was already feeling. My faith intensified because I trust God to do what He said. I witnessed firsthand in the storm, so I know He’s a keeper of His word outside the storm.
Things are about to change for the better. If only you just BELIEVE. God is right there. Believe that and you will be strengthened. He will help you while He is upholding you. His righteousness right hand will remove those things that need to be removed that will try hinder your progress. And blessings on top of blessings are going to overtake you. I believe it and I receive it. Are you with me?
Get Ready! Get Ready! Get Ready!

Heavenly Father, thank you for the comfort we don’t deserve but you so graciously give us. We are so excited about the blessings to come and that you will help us navigate through the unknown. There is no need to fear because you will be our supernatural bodyguard. Thank you Lord, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
